In most cases, no. ChargeCoin is designed to sit on top of existing hardware via OCPP, API or a dedicated payment UI. During the onboarding call, we confirm compatibility and required steps.
Drivers pay using crypto with a 0.1% transaction fee. As a station partner, you receive payouts in CHG and/or stablecoins according to your agreement, with transparent dashboards and exportable reports.
The initial focus is on the UK & EU, with additional regions opened as legal, technical and operational requirements are met. Pilot partners in strategic locations may be prioritized.
